In the early game, focus on capturing smaller, calmer Pokémon to build your Partner Pokémon roster and learn the mechanics. As you progress, you'll use your captured Pokémon's Field Moves to solve environmental puzzles, clear obstacles, and advance through the story. During tense capture attempts against powerful or aggressive Pokémon, maintain a steady hand, use quick, small loops to build the gauge rapidly, and utilize your Partner Pokémon's assist abilities to calm or slow down the target.
