Puyo Puyo Box is a competitive puzzle game where the core objective is to clear colored blobs called Puyos from the screen by connecting four or more of the same color. You control the descent of pairs of Puyos, rotating and positioning them to create chains. The key to success is planning ahead to set up chain reactions, where clearing one group causes others to fall and create new matches, sending nuisance Puyos to your opponent's screen to disrupt them. As a beginner, focus on building simple two or three-chain setups near one side of the board. In the middle of a match, try to create larger chains by stacking Puyos of different colors in layers. During tense moments when your board is filling up, look for quick, small matches to buy time while you work on a larger chain to counter-attack.
