Combat is a core challenge; you must carefully aim your weapons at zombies and other bio-organic weapons (BOWs), often choosing to evade enemies to save ammo for tougher boss fights. A key strategy is thorough exploration to find key items, ink ribbons for saving your progress, and weapon upgrades. The game features a tense, methodical pace where managing your inventory and health is crucial for survival. In the early game, focus on learning the map layout and avoiding unnecessary fights.
