You control Bucky O'Hare through a series of side-scrolling levels, running, jumping, and shooting to defeat enemy toads and robots. Your primary weapon is a blaster that can be upgraded by collecting power-ups dropped by certain enemies. Each level features platforming challenges, environmental hazards, and a boss fight at the end. The goal is to rescue your crew members, each of whom grants a unique special ability when freed, such as a powerful screen-clearing attack.
