In Chameleon Twist, you control a chameleon exploring surreal, multi-tiered worlds. Your primary ability is your extendable tongue, which is used for both movement and combat. Aim with the control stick and press the button to shoot your tongue out to latch onto special flower targets or enemies. Once attached, you can swing across gaps, pull yourself to new areas, or reel in foes to defeat them. You can also use your tongue to grab items and collect fruit for points. The control stick allows your chameleon to walk, run, and perform a corkscrew jump for extra height and distance. Each level is filled with platforms, enemies, and environmental puzzles that require careful use of your tongue-swinging mechanics to progress. The goal is to navigate through each stage, defeat the boss at the end, and rescue your friends.
