In China Gate, you play as a skilled martial artist on a mission to rescue a kidnapped woman from a criminal organization. The game is a side-scrolling beat 'em up where you move from left to right, fighting various enemies using punches, kicks, and special attacks. Your primary objective is to defeat all enemies in each stage while avoiding their attacks. You can pick up weapons like nunchucks and throwing stars that appear throughout the levels to enhance your combat effectiveness. Each stage ends with a boss battle against a powerful enemy that requires pattern recognition and precise timing to defeat. Early in the game, focus on learning enemy attack patterns and conserving health by avoiding unnecessary damage. As you progress, master the timing of your attacks and use weapons strategically against tougher opponents. During tense moments, keep moving to avoid being surrounded and prioritize eliminating projectile-throwing enemies first.
