In Flame Dragon Knights: Seal of the Evil God, you command a party of unique characters across a world map and through turn-based tactical battles. Your primary objective is to guide your heroes through a story-driven campaign, engaging enemies on grid-based maps. During combat, you will move your units strategically, considering terrain advantages and enemy positions, and then select attacks, spells, or items to defeat foes. Each character has distinct classes and abilities, so a key beginner strategy is to protect weaker units like mages with sturdy knights while positioning archers on high ground for ranged support. The challenge rhythm involves managing your party's health and magic points between battles, which occur frequently. Early on, focus on gaining experience to level up your core team. In the middle of the game, you will face larger enemy groups that require careful formation and use of area-effect magic. During tense moments, such as boss fights, prioritize healing and focus fire on the primary threat to survive the encounter.
