Combat involves aiming with the touch screen for precise shots - tap zombies to target specific body parts. Use the DS microphone to revive yourself when grabbed by enemies. The game features two modes: Classic Mode with original gameplay and Rebirth Mode with new touch-based puzzles and first-person knife fights. Conserve ammunition by avoiding unnecessary combat and learning enemy patterns. Focus on map exploration early, collect herbs for healing, and save ink ribbons wisely at typewriters. In tense moments, use defensive items or quickly switch to knife combat in close quarters.
