You play as Son Goku, the Monkey King, on a quest to defeat demons and rescue Princess Kinkaku. The game is a side-scrolling action platformer where you move from left to right through various themed stages. Your primary weapon is Goku's extendable staff, which you can swing to attack enemies. You can also find and use magical items, such as a cloud that allows you to fly temporarily. Jumping and timing your attacks are crucial to avoid enemy projectiles and environmental hazards. The goal of each stage is to reach the end and defeat the stage boss. In the early parts of a run, focus on learning enemy patterns and collecting power-ups. As you progress, the levels become more complex, requiring precise platforming and quick reflexes during tense combat encounters. A useful strategy is to memorize boss attack patterns and strike during their vulnerable moments.
