How to play

Your primary objective in Brotato is to survive relentless waves of alien enemies by constantly dodging attacks and letting your weapons fire automatically. As you move around the arena using basic directional controls, your potato will strike nearby foes based on the weapons and items equipped in your loadout, requiring you to master spacing and evasive maneuvers. Between combat waves, spend your earned materials in the shop to purchase new weapons, defensive armor, and stat-boosting items that shape your build. Early on, focus on securing reliable damage output and basic movement speed to easily outmaneuver initial enemy groups. As the run progresses into tougher middle and late waves, prioritize stacking defensive stats like HP regeneration and armor while managing your weapon tiers to withstand overwhelming enemy swarms.
