How to play
Your goal is to guide Christopher Belmont through a series of dangerous castles, defeating monsters and bosses to ultimately confront Dracula. You move with the D-pad, jump with a button, and attack with your whip using another. The whip can be powered up by collecting orbs, increasing its length and damage. Each castle is a non-linear stage filled with platforms, traps, and enemies; you must find the correct path to the boss room. A key strategy is to learn enemy patterns and use sub-weapons like holy water or axes, which consume hearts collected from candles. The challenge escalates as you progress, with tougher enemies and more complex platforming sections. In the early game, focus on collecting power-ups and mastering basic combat. Later, careful resource management and precise jumps become essential for surviving the more demanding castle layouts and boss fights.
