In Crossed Swords, players guide a knight through the kingdom of Beltain to defeat the demon warlord Nausizz. The game uses a unique behind-the-back perspective where the player's character is shown as a semi-transparent wireframe. The core objective is to duel various fantasy creatures by carefully reading their movements and reacting with precise defensive and offensive actions. Move your shield up or down to block incoming high or low attacks, then immediately counterattack with your sword. You can also perform weapon strikes, dodge maneuvers, and cast powerful magic spells when your magic meter is filled. Balancing your offense and defense while managing your health and magic across multiple stages is essential for survival.
