How to play
Your goal in Daytona USA is to win races by finishing first across three laps on twisting tracks. You control the Hornet car, accelerating with one button and braking with another. In the early part of a race, focus on learning the track layout and finding the optimal racing line. The middle lap is about building momentum and executing clean drifts to catch up to or pull away from opponents. During tense final moments, avoid collisions with rival cars and manage your speed carefully on the final straightaway to secure victory. A key beginner strategy is to use the brake lightly while turning to initiate a controlled slide instead of a full spin-out.
