The core objective of Gravity Defied is to guide your trial motorcycle from the starting point to the finish line of each course in the shortest time possible without crashing. Controlling the bike requires delicate balance and a keen understanding of physics. Use the acceleration controls to gain forward momentum, and apply the brakes or reverse when you need to slow down or steady your position. Your most critical inputs are tilting the motorcycle forward or backward, which allows you to adjust your center of gravity while in mid-air or climbing steep hills. In the early stages, focus on maintaining constant contact with the ground and avoiding excessive speed, which can cause you to flip over. As the courses become more complex with vertical drops, sheer cliffs, and jagged gaps, you must master the rhythm of feathering the throttle. When climbing a steep incline, lean forward to keep the front wheel down, but quickly shift your weight backward as you reach the crest to ensure a stable landing. If your rider's head touches the ground or any obstacle, you will crash and must restart from the last checkpoint.
