How to play
Dragon Warrior III is a turn-based RPG where you assemble a party of adventurers to defeat the archfiend Baramos. Combat occurs through random encounters on the world map and in dungeons, where you input commands for each party member to attack, cast spells, or use items. Your primary goal is to explore the expansive world, complete quests for townsfolk, and grow stronger by defeating monsters to gain experience and gold. Early on, focus on building a balanced party—such as including a Fighter for strength and a Priest for healing—and steadily upgrade your equipment in each new town you discover. As you progress, you'll unlock the advanced class change system, allowing you to re-spec characters into more powerful vocations like Sage or Warrior Mage. The challenge escalates in large dungeons where resource management of MP and healing items becomes critical.
