How to play
You control Earthworm Jim, a worm in a robotic suit, through a series of side-scrolling levels. Your primary goal is to defeat enemies and navigate environmental hazards to reach the end of each stage. Use Jim's blaster to shoot foes and his signature whip-like head to swing across gaps or grab objects. Jumping and precise platforming are essential for avoiding pits and obstacles. As you progress, you will face larger enemies and challenging boss battles that require pattern recognition and quick reflexes. In the early stages, focus on mastering the jump-and-shoot mechanics and learning the timing for using your head as a whip. The middle part of the game introduces more complex enemy patterns and platforming sections, requiring you to use all of Jim's abilities in combination. During tense moments, such as boss fights, watch for attack tells and prioritize dodging over attacking until you find an opening to strike.
