How to play
In Gauntlet Legends, your primary goal is to guide your chosen hero through a series of maze-like dungeons, defeating waves of monsters, collecting treasure, and finding the exit to the next level. You move your character with the directional pad and attack nearby enemies with a single attack button. Each of the four character classes—Warrior, Valkyrie, Wizard, and Archer—has unique strengths and a special magical attack. You must manage your health, which constantly drains over time, by collecting food, and your magic power by collecting potions. Keys are essential for unlocking doors and chests. A key beginner strategy is to stick with your teammates in multiplayer to combine attacks and share resources. The challenge rhythm involves clearing rooms of enemies while searching for secrets and avoiding traps. In the early stages, focus on learning your character's attack range and gathering gold to purchase permanent stat upgrades between levels. During tense moments, use your powerful magic attack to clear the screen when surrounded.
