How to play
Knights of Valour Plus is a classic side-scrolling beat 'em up where your goal is to fight through stages of enemy soldiers and powerful bosses. You control your chosen warrior, moving left and right across the screen, using a basic attack button to perform combos and a jump button for aerial attacks. You can also execute special moves by pressing attack and jump together, which consumes a portion of your health but deals significant damage to clear the screen. Picking up weapons like swords and spears temporarily boosts your attack power, while food items restore health. The core strategy involves managing crowds of enemies, using throws and crowd-control specials to avoid being surrounded, and conserving health for challenging boss fights at the end of each stage. In the early game, focus on learning your character's basic combo and the timing for blocking or evading attacks. As you progress, the challenge increases with more aggressive enemies and complex attack patterns, requiring you to master the use of your character's unique special moves and super attacks, which are unleashed when your magic meter is full. During tense moments, especially against bosses, prioritize dodging their telegraphed attacks and strike during their recovery periods.
