Your goal is to guide Mega Man through challenging stages, defeat Robot Masters, and acquire their special weapons to progress. You run, jump, and shoot your way through enemy-filled levels, using precise platforming to avoid hazards. A key strategy is choosing the optimal Robot Master order, as each is weak to a specific weapon you obtain from another. The Mega Buster can now be charged for a more powerful shot, which is essential for dealing heavy damage and breaking certain blocks. Early in a run, focus on mastering the charge shot timing and learning enemy patterns. Mid-game, experiment with the new special weapons to discover weaknesses and unlock shortcuts. In tense moments, careful movement and strategic weapon use are crucial for surviving boss fights and navigating tricky sections.
