How to play
In Ogre Battle, you command a rebel army across a world map in real-time, moving unit icons to liberate towns and engage enemy forces. Your primary goal is to build a powerful army, manage your reputation, and strategically deploy units to capture enemy bases. Each unit consists of up to five characters arranged in a formation, and battles are automated based on unit stats, positioning, and alignment. Early on, focus on recruiting diverse classes like fighters and wizards, liberating towns to increase your alignment, and avoiding chaotic actions that lower your reputation. As you progress, manage unit experience, class changes, and equipment to counter stronger enemies and bosses. During tense moments, carefully position units to exploit enemy weaknesses and protect your leader, as unit loss can significantly impact your campaign.
