How to play
You control Aya Brea from a third-person perspective, exploring environments and engaging in real-time combat with monstrous creatures. The core objective is to survive the Christmas Eve outbreak by solving puzzles, managing resources, and defeating bosses. Combat occurs on a field where you can move freely to dodge attacks, while a targeting reticle charges to allow you to aim and shoot. Use the ATB gauge to time your attacks and spells, known as Parasite Energy, which can heal, buff, or damage enemies. A key beginner strategy is to frequently save your game, upgrade your weapons at designated terminals, and conserve healing items for boss fights. In the early game, focus on learning enemy patterns and mastering the dodge mechanic. During tense moments, prioritize staying mobile to avoid area-of-effect attacks and use powerful PE abilities when the reticle is fully charged to maximize damage.
