How to play
The core objective of Puyo Puyo is to clear the screen of colored blobs called Puyos by connecting four or more of the same color. You control a pair of Puyos that fall from the top of the screen. Rotate and move the pair to create chains by making Puyos pop, which causes garbage Puyos to drop onto your opponent's screen. In the early game, focus on building small, reliable chains to send minor disruptions. As you progress, learn to set up larger, multi-step chain reactions by carefully stacking Puyos so that the popping of one group triggers the next. During tense moments, manage the height of your stack to avoid topping out while looking for opportunities to unleash a massive chain that can overwhelm your opponent. The key is to think several moves ahead and use your opponent's attacks to fuel your own counter-chains.
