How to play
The objective of Street Hoop is to defeat your opponents in 2-on-2 basketball matches, scoring more points before time runs out. You control one player on the court, with the computer or a second player controlling your teammate. Moment-to-moment play involves dribbling, passing, and shooting, but the game emphasizes flashy moves like alley-oop passes and powerful dunks. A power meter builds up as you play, allowing you to perform special shots that are harder to block. Early in a match, focus on learning your players' strengths and building your power meter with successful passes and steals. As the game progresses, use your power moves strategically to break through the opponent's defense. In tense moments, especially when trailing, prioritize stealing the ball and attempting high-percentage shots or triggering a powerful special move to close the gap. Defense is key; time your jumps to block shots and disrupt the opposing team's rhythm.
