How to play
Your goal is to guide Strider Hiryu through side-scrolling stages, using his signature Cypher plasma sword to slash through robotic enemies and acrobatic moves like sliding and wall-jumping to navigate platforms. Combat is fluid and fast; you can perform rapid slashes, a charged attack for greater damage, and a downward spinning slash while jumping. Defeating enemies and destroying objects often yields power-ups that restore health or increase your attack power. Each stage culminates in a challenging boss fight that requires pattern recognition and quick reflexes to overcome. In the early stages, focus on mastering the rhythm of your attacks and learning enemy patterns. As you progress, the levels become more complex with environmental hazards and tougher enemy placements, requiring precise platforming and efficient use of your special moves. During tense moments, especially boss battles, prioritize evasion and look for openings to strike rather than attacking recklessly.
