How to play
You control Link from a top-down perspective, exploring the island of Koholint, fighting enemies with your sword and shield, and solving puzzles in dungeons to collect instruments that will awaken the Wind Fish. The core objective is to navigate through eight main dungeons, defeat their bosses, and gather items that expand your abilities, such as the Power Bracelet for lifting heavy objects or the Hookshot for crossing gaps. In the early game, focus on exploring the overworld, talking to villagers for hints, and finding the first dungeon. As you progress, use your map and compass in each dungeon to locate keys and the boss room. Combat involves strategic use of your sword, shield, and secondary items like bombs or the bow. Pay attention to enemy patterns and use your items to exploit their weaknesses. In tense moments, manage your health with heart containers and fairies, and save your progress at telephones scattered around the island.
