How to play
War Gods is a 3D fighting game where you select one of eight unique characters, each with their own special moves and fatalities. The core objective is to defeat your opponent in best-of-three rounds by depleting their health bar using a combination of basic attacks, throws, and special moves. Each character has light and heavy punch/kick buttons that can be combined with directional inputs to perform combos and special attacks. The game features a power-up system where landing hits fills your super meter, allowing you to unleash devastating super moves when fully charged. As a beginner, focus on learning your character's basic move set and one or two reliable special moves. The arena is fully 3D, allowing you to sidestep and circle opponents, which is crucial for avoiding attacks and creating openings. In tense moments, watch for opportunities to use your super move or perform a fatality when your opponent is defeated. The challenge rhythm involves reading your opponent's patterns while mixing up your own attacks to avoid being predictable. Later stages introduce more aggressive AI opponents who require precise timing and effective use of defensive maneuvers.
