How to play
The objective of Yoshi's Cookie is to clear the grid of all cookies by creating complete rows or columns of the same cookie type. You control a cursor to swap adjacent rows or columns of cookies, shifting the entire line. When a full horizontal row or vertical column contains identical cookies, those pieces are removed from the board, and the remaining cookies fall into place. The game progressively increases in speed and complexity, introducing larger grids and special cookies that require multiple matches to clear. As a beginner, focus on creating matches that cause a chain reaction, clearing multiple lines at once. Look for opportunities to set up combos by planning your swaps to align several matches consecutively. In the early stages, take your time to understand the cookie patterns. During tense moments when the grid is nearly full, prioritize making any available match to create space and avoid a game over.
