How to play
Zero Team USA is a classic side-scrolling beat 'em up where you select one of four unique characters, each with their own fighting style and special moves. Your objective is to fight through multiple stages filled with enemy thugs, using punches, kicks, and character-specific special attacks to clear your path. Each character has a life bar and continues are limited, so avoiding damage is crucial. You can pick up weapons like knives and pipes dropped by enemies, and perform jump attacks or grappling moves for variety. The game features a two-player cooperative mode where teamwork can help overcome tougher enemy formations. In the early stages, focus on learning your character's move set and practicing crowd control by knocking enemies into each other. During the middle sections, conserve health by using special attacks strategically when surrounded, and watch for environmental hazards. During tense boss fights, learn attack patterns and strike during their recovery animations. The challenge rhythm involves clearing screens of enemies while managing your health bar across increasingly difficult stages until you reach the final boss.
