Comment jouer
Your goal is to guide Sonia Belmont through side-scrolling stages filled with monsters, traps, and bosses to defeat Count Dracula. You move with the D-pad, attack with the B button using your primary weapon the Vampire Killer whip, and jump with the A button. You can find sub-weapons like axes or holy water by breaking candles, which are activated with the A button while holding the B button. Your health is represented by hearts, and collecting hearts replenishes your sub-weapon ammunition. Each stage culminates in a boss fight that requires learning attack patterns to avoid damage while striking when an opening appears. Early on, focus on mastering the timing of your whip attacks and jumps to avoid enemy contact, as you take damage from touching foes. In the middle stages, learn to use sub-weapons effectively against specific enemy types and bosses. During tense moments, prioritize dodging attacks over dealing damage to preserve your limited health. The game features a 'Burning Mode' which can be activated when your health is critical, temporarily increasing your attack power, but use it strategically as it drains your health further.
