Your primary objective is to guide Vahn and his companions through a world engulfed by a deadly Mist, fighting monsters and reviving Genesis Trees to restore peace. The core gameplay involves exploring towns and dungeons, interacting with NPCs for clues, and engaging in turn-based battles. The unique Tactical Arts system requires you to input commands like Up, Down, Left, or Right to chain together normal attacks and special Arts moves. Building longer combos fills your Hyper Arts Gauge, allowing for even more powerful attacks. A key beginner strategy is to experiment with different command sequences to discover new Arts, which are essential for defeating tougher enemies. In the early game, focus on learning basic combos and managing your Spirit points for healing. As you progress, you'll recruit party members with their own unique Arts, requiring you to balance your team's strengths. During tense boss fights, prioritize healing and using your most powerful discovered Arts to break through their defenses.
