In New Rally X, you control a small blue car viewed from above. Your primary goal is to drive around a maze-like course to collect all the flags scattered throughout while avoiding red enemy cars that chase you. You have a limited amount of fuel, which depletes over time, adding urgency to your flag collection. Use the directional controls to navigate the narrow pathways. A key tactical tool is your smoke screen, which can be deployed to temporarily confuse and slow down pursuing enemies, but it consumes extra fuel. The maze also contains destructible rocks that can be crashed into to create new paths or block enemies, but this also uses fuel. The game is played in stages; completing one stage by collecting all flags advances you to a more difficult one with faster or more numerous enemies. Focus on learning the maze layout to plan efficient routes, use smoke screens sparingly to escape tight situations, and always keep an eye on your fuel gauge to avoid running out.
