Each Pokémon has a certain Power Gauge you must deplete by maintaining contact; stronger or agitated Pokémon will attack and try to break your line, so you must be swift and avoid their attacks. In the early game, focus on capturing smaller, calmer Pokémon to build your Partner Pokémon's skills and learn the circling rhythm. As you progress, you'll use captured Pokémon's Field Moves to solve environmental puzzles and access new areas, which is key to advancing the story. During tense capture moments against boss-like Pokémon, watch for their attack patterns, use your Partner's assist abilities, and draw smaller, tighter circles to minimize the line's exposure to damage. The challenge is managing your Styler's energy and mastering the quick, fluid strokes needed for successful captures, which becomes crucial in later missions.
