Your primary goal is to become the Pokémon League Champion by defeating the Elite Four and the Champion. You start by choosing one of three starter Pokémon—Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle—and then travel across the Kanto region, capturing wild Pokémon in Poké Balls to build a balanced team. Engage in turn-based battles against wild Pokémon and other trainers; each Pokémon has unique types, moves, and stats, so exploiting type advantages (like using Water moves against Fire types) is key to victory. Explore towns, caves, and routes to find items, earn badges from Gym Leaders, and advance the story by thwarting Team Rocket's schemes. In the early game, focus on catching a variety of types and leveling up your team evenly. As you progress, teach your Pokémon powerful moves via TMs and HMs, and evolve them to unlock greater strength. During tense battles, manage your party's health and status conditions with items, and switch Pokémon strategically to gain the upper hand.
