The objective of Super Soccer is to score more goals than your opponent within the match time limit. You control a team of players, passing the ball between them to advance up the field. Use the D-pad to move your selected player and the buttons to pass, shoot, or perform a sliding tackle to dispossess the opposition. A powerful shot can be charged by holding the shoot button. In the early part of a match, focus on maintaining possession with short passes to learn your team's movement. As you progress, use through passes and sprints to break the defensive line. During tense moments near the goal, time your shots carefully and aim for the corners. Defensively, switch players frequently to cut off passing lanes and use tackles sparingly to avoid fouls. The game's challenge comes from the opponent's aggression and the need for precise shooting angles.
