In Worms Armageddon, you command a team of worms in turn-based battles against an opponent's team. Each turn, you control one worm at a time, moving it around the terrain and using a wide arsenal of weapons to attack enemy worms. The core objective is to eliminate all opposing worms by reducing their health to zero, either by direct damage or by knocking them into the water. The landscape is fully destructible, allowing you to create new paths or collapse terrain onto foes. Early in a match, focus on positioning your worms in safe, elevated spots and using basic weapons like bazookas and grenades to deal reliable damage. As the match progresses, you'll gain access to more powerful tools like airstrikes, homing missiles, and super weapons. Tense moments often involve precise aiming under time pressure, calculating projectile trajectories with wind effects, and using utilities like the ninja rope or jetpack for mobility. A key strategy is to manage your limited inventory wisely and anticipate enemy movements to set up devastating combos or environmental kills.
