Beginners should focus on mastering a few basic combos and learning the timing for parries. During a match, manage your distance and look for opportunities to use your character's unique special moves or super moves, which are executed with specific joystick and button combinations. The tension rises as life bars get low, so staying calm and capitalizing on a successful parry can turn the tide of a close match.
