A unique mechanic allows you to avoid random encounters by defeating enemies on the field before they touch you, speeding up travel. For beginners, focus on balancing offensive PSI like PK Fire with healing spells, and save often at telephones. The rhythm involves tense boss fights punctuated by exploration and puzzle-solving in surreal locations. During a run, prioritize expanding your PSI repertoire and equipping the best gear available in each new town to handle escalating challenges.
