The objective of Super Tennis is to win matches by outscoring your opponent in sets of games. During a point, you control your player's movement with the D-pad and execute different shots using the A and B buttons. A standard shot is performed with the A button, while the B button produces a lob or a more powerful shot depending on the situation. Timing is crucial; hitting the ball at the peak of its bounce yields the most effective returns. Your player has a stamina meter that depletes with intense movement, so strategic positioning is key to conserving energy for long rallies. In the early stages of a match, focus on learning your opponent's patterns and placing shots to the corners of the court. As the match progresses, mix up your shots with slices and lobs to keep your opponent off balance. During tense moments, such as a tie-break, prioritize consistency and avoid risky shots unless you have a clear opening. In doubles matches, coordination with your AI partner is automatic, but you can influence their positioning. A useful beginner strategy is to stay near the baseline and focus on returning the ball deep to your opponent's court, forcing them into errors.
