You control Banjo and Kazooie as a duo, exploring large, interconnected worlds from a third-person perspective. Your main goal is to collect Jiggies, which are golden jigsaw puzzle pieces used to unlock new worlds, and Musical Notes, which open doors in Gruntilda's Lair, the central hub. You'll also gather Feathers for Kazooie's flight and other abilities, and Mumbo Tokens to have the shaman Mumbo Jumbo transform you to solve specific puzzles. Each world is filled with platforming challenges, enemies to defeat with basic attacks, and characters who give you quests. Learning and mastering the duo's growing list of moves, such as the Talon Trot, Beak Barge, and Egg Firing, is key to progression. Focus initially on exploring each area thoroughly to find easy-to-reach collectibles. As you progress, pay close attention to environmental clues and character dialogue for hints on solving more complex puzzles. In tense moments, like boss fights, use your full arsenal of moves and manage your health by collecting honeycombs.
