Your objective is to defeat a series of Robot Masters in one-on-one combat. Each match takes place on a single screen, and you control Mega Man who can run, jump, and fire his standard buster shot. Success relies on quick reflexes and pattern recognition rather than complex combos. A key beginner strategy is to maintain distance to safely observe attacks before moving in to counter. The challenge rhythm is a steady progression through increasingly difficult boss fights, with the ultimate goal being to clear the entire roster. In tense moments, focus on dodging first and only attack when you have a clear opening.
