The core gameplay revolves around fluid swimming and platforming. Use the directional pad to swim in any direction underwater or walk on land. Press the jump button to leap out of the water or traverse platforms, and press the action button to perform a spin attack, which is essential for defeating enemies and breaking obstacles. Be mindful of Starfy's dizziness; spinning too many times in rapid succession will temporarily stun him, leaving you vulnerable to attacks. In the early stages, focus on mastering the momentum of swimming and collecting pearls to restore health.
