Control Starfy, the star-shaped prince of Pufftop, as he navigates through various aquatic and land-based stages to return to his kingdom. The core gameplay revolves around fluid swimming and platforming. Use the directional pad to swim in any direction underwater or walk on land. Press the jump button to leap out of the water or traverse platforms, and press the action button to perform a spin attack, which is essential for defeating enemies and breaking obstacles. Be mindful of Starfy's dizziness; spinning too many times in rapid succession will temporarily stun him, leaving you vulnerable to attacks. In the early stages, focus on mastering the momentum of swimming and collecting pearls to restore health. As the challenge increases, you will need to combine jumps with glides to cross large gaps and time your spin attacks carefully against bosses and moving hazards. Keep an eye out for friendly characters like Moe the clam, who offer helpful advice and save points.
