Pay close attention to the happiness of your people and the loyalty of your ministers, as neglecting these can lead to rebellion and the end of your reign. A key strategy is to balance your budget; overtaxing can cause unrest, while underfunding the military or granaries can leave you vulnerable. In the early game, focus on building a stable economic base and appointing competent, loyal advisors. As your reign progresses, you will face more complex challenges like invasions, plagues, and court intrigues. During tense moments, such as a military conflict or a famine, prioritize immediate survival by reallocating funds and making decisive choices from the events presented to you. The game ends when your dynasty falls, so your overarching objective is to achieve a long and successful rule.
