How to play
Pokémon Puzzle League is a competitive tile-matching puzzle game where the goal is to clear the screen faster than your opponent. You control a cursor to swap adjacent colored panels in a grid, aiming to line up three or more of the same color horizontally or vertically. When a match is made, those panels disappear, and the panels above fall down. Creating chains or combos by making matches that cause additional panels to match sends garbage blocks to your opponent's screen, obstructing their view and making it harder for them to clear their own board. The key to success is planning ahead to set up large chain reactions. Beginners should focus on scanning the board for potential matches that will cause a cascade, rather than just making the first available match. In tense moments, when the screen is filling up, look for quick matches on the bottom rows to create space and avoid a game over.
