How to play
You control Xena, the warrior princess, from a third-person perspective. Your primary objective is to fight through levels filled with soldiers, mythical beasts, and bosses using Xena's signature chakram and sword. The moment-to-moment play involves exploring linear environments, solving simple puzzles like pushing blocks or finding keys, and engaging in combo-based combat. A useful beginner strategy is to master the chakram's boomerang-like throw for hitting distant enemies and switches, while saving your powerful spinning attack for groups of foes. The challenge rhythm consists of clearing areas of enemies, navigating platforming sections, and facing a boss at the end of each stage. In the early game, focus on learning the attack timings and exploring every corner for health upgrades. During tense moments, especially boss fights, prioritize dodging attacks and waiting for an opening to strike rather than rushing in.
