The core challenge is mastering this timing under varying course conditions. Early in a round, focus on safe, accurate drives to position yourself for an easier approach shot to the green. The middle of the round involves careful putting, where reading the green's slope is crucial. In tense moments, such as attempting a long putt or a risky shot from a hazard, maintaining composure and precise timing is key to scoring under par.
