For crowd control, players can trigger a screen-clearing special move by pressing attack and jump simultaneously, though this consumes a portion of their health. A unique mechanic in this game is the charge attack; by holding the attack button until the character flashes, players can unleash a devastating signature move. Success requires managing enemy positioning to avoid being flanked and timing jumps to dodge environmental hazards or aerial projectiles.
