You control a starfighter that can move in all directions and fire a primary weapon. The moment-to-moment play involves dodging enemy fire, destroying hostile ships, and collecting power-ups that enhance your ship's weapons and defensive capabilities. A useful beginner strategy is to focus on learning enemy attack patterns and prioritizing targets that pose the most immediate threat, such as ships that fire homing missiles. The challenge rhythm is fast-paced, with brief respites between waves allowing you to reposition. In the early stages, focus on collecting as many power-ups as possible to build a strong arsenal. During the middle of a run, master the use of any special weapons or bombs you've acquired to clear dense enemy formations. In tense moments, especially during boss fights, concentrate on evasion and look for brief attack windows to deal damage without taking a hit.
