Unlike other mahjong variants, the game continues even after one player wins ('goes out'); the remaining players keep playing until only one person has tiles left, creating multiple rounds of scoring within a single game. A key rule is that you can only win by self-drawn tiles, not by claiming a discard, unless you are in a special 'ready' state. Focus on declaring 'ready' early to increase your chances of winning a round. Pay close attention to the 'Flower' and 'Animal' bonus tiles, as they provide extra points. In tense moments, carefully observe the discards of other players to deduce which tiles are safe to discard and which combinations they might be building.
