In Super Punch-Out!!, your goal is to become the champion by defeating all opponents in the Major and World Circuits. You control your boxer from a behind-the-back perspective, using the D-pad to dodge and the buttons to throw jabs, hooks, and uppercuts. Each opponent has unique attack patterns and tells; learning these visual cues is key to success. Focus on dodging or blocking incoming punches and then counter-attacking during the brief openings your opponent leaves. Early on, practice timing your dodges and identifying when to strike back. As you progress, you'll need to memorize complex patterns and manage your stamina bar to avoid becoming fatigued. In tense moments, watch for an opponent to become dizzy after a strong counter—this is your chance to unleash a powerful Star Punch for massive damage.
